Presentation Portvision 2030 Port of Zwolle.

 The match between PEC Zwolle and Feyenoord was a good opportunity to strengthen the ties between businesses, educational institutions and governments in the region Zwolle and Rotterdam. The meeting was kicked off by Marco Swenne (director of Port of Zwolle) with the presentation of the Portvision. After this pitch Arwen Korteweg (Port of Rotterdam), Danny Deckers (Port of Antwerp) and Marco Swenne were talking about the importance of stakeholders. An extensive network of production companies, logistics service providers, carriers, barge skippers, terminals, municipalities, provinces, RWS and ProRail. 

Port Solutions Rotterdam wrote the Portvision 2030 for the Port of Zwolle.

Marieke Vavier loves the port!

In January an interview with Marieke Vavier is published on B'elle.  B'elle  is a weekly blog that pays attention to a woman who is succesfull in business and is working to build success. One of the subjects is her vision on social innovation : "Working together, transparency and data sharing is key if you want to work better and more efficiently. Marieke Vavier wins "Binnenvaartondernemers wisseltrofee 2015"

Marieke Vavier received the CBOB "Binnenvaartondernemers wisseltrofee 2015" at the annual meeting of Royal BLN Schuttevaer for her work for the Inland Credit Union Netherlands. The Trophy is an annual award for a particular company or entrepreneur in the inland shipping business."

Together with the board, she raised the credit union to a higher level" said Jan van Belzen, mayor of the city of Barendrecht and chairman of the CBOB. "As chairmen of the newly set up credit union (Binnenvaart Kredietunie Nederland, BKN) Marieke Vavier gets this trophy for her passionate commitment, professionalism and stimulating ambition, with which she expands a steady course for the BKN.

She gives the BKN as a bank for an by inland shipping companies, a permanent place in society". The award was presented during the annual meeting of Royal BLN Schuttevaer on Friday 27th November. Masterclass Port development meets the need of the members of the NVB

Ending the day with more questions than answers

On Thursday, October 1st, 2015 25 members of the Dutch Association of Inland Ports (NVB) were together in Tiel, the Netherlands. There the Masterclass "Strategic financial aspects of port development" took place. Co-organizers and speakers Onno Roelofs, STIG Delta and Marieke Vavier, Port Solutions Rotterdam got positive feedback on the Masterclass. Article published on economic survey NGICT

In the BOX Intermodal (issue september 2015) an article is published about the economic exploration made by Port Solutions Rotterdam. On Wednesday the 4th of March 2015 the NOS made a televisionreport on the usefulness and necessity of the Binnenvaart Kredietunie Nederland (BKN). 

On the MS Ina in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands, inlandskipper Wim Sakko and

chairman of the Board of Directors, Marieke Vavier, gave an explanation about this.

During a meeting of the steering committee of the Inlandskippers Credit Union Netherlands io (BKN) on January 10, 2015 the first board was appointed by the BKN.

Marieke Vavier has been appointed Chairman. Gerlo Hobbenschot is appointed as Secretary.

Bart Verkade was appointed Treasurer and Jan Blonk has been appointed as Member.

Krijn de Blaey and Johan Wolfswinkel are also appointed as Member of the Board.
